Bush. 65 days green. 90 days dry. My favorite bush bean. This striking Dutch variety makes creamy yellow pods with beautiful purple streaks. Traditionally picked “green” before the seed matures. The “green” bean offers a flat pod, with a sweet flavor. Purple color will go away upon cooking. If left to dry, beans will mature into a pinto style bean great for soups and refried beans. The highest yielding bean in my garden 2 years in a row. Succession plant for a continued harvest. Plant outside after all danger of frost has passed. Soaking beans/peas in warm water for 12-24 hours before planting helps them germinate much more reliably. Limited stock. 20-25 seeds per pack
